Thinsulate is a synthetic fiber developed by 3M. It was first marketed as a more cost efficient alternative to down and it was advertised as twice as warm as any natural fabric.

Adding to the warmth of the Thinsulate is a thermal balance microfleece. Microfleece is a polyester based fabric with a cut surface that has a pile texture. The fibers of microfleece catch air and generate warmth.

This is the perfect headgear for a winter walk or simply for extremely cold environments.
